Elk Season Begins!
It's that time of year again! Opening day for Elk was this last Saturday and it was a miserable one at that! Dad is up here with his buddies again this year and they were soaked to the skin within a few hours. I decided to cook for the men (10 of them!) and of course I totally over estimated on the quantities, again. Anyway, I decided to bake a cake in honor of the season and I think it turned out pretty well! I forgot to take pictures of the inside, but I did the inside camouflage colored. I think the guys really enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures. Still no word on anyone getting their Elk, but we are hopeful. The rain also left us some snow up on Timp. There's the view from our front porch, awesome huh??
New Food...
A few weeks ago we started Jacob on solids and it has been an interesting experience. He likes trying new foods, but some of the faces he makes when eating are hilarious. Here are a few pictures of him eating.
