A day at the park

Today was Jacob's first real trip to a park. Now that it is finally warming up, Jacob can enjoy the outdoors. He loves to be able to roam and play. Even though he has touched grass before, crawling on grass was a weird experience for him. He kept pulling his hands up and looking at them, trying to figure out the unfamiliar sensation of grass.

Today was also his first time on a real swing set, and he loved it. That motivated me to work on his swing set we have in the backyard. It was kind of falling apart when we first moved here, so I decided to reinforce it before we let him play with it. Here are a few pictures from our fun day at the park.

Holy Cow!

My son is really trying my patience this week. He's into EVERYTHING, nothing keeps him happy for more than a few minutes. Any time I tell him NO, he laughs at me. He must think this Mommy says no I can't have that thing is a joke or something. He cracks up! Then I can't help but start giggling too. The hardest have been bed times because Dustin is working almost every night until 10:30 PM and can't help. Thankfully, once I get the little monster to bed, he usually stays there all night. He's a cutie pie though. He's turned into a little boy.

I won't tell you what he was doing in this picture.

I'm getting more and more of these "picture" smiles. Not the laughs I used to get.

I just think the look on his face in this picture is CLASSIC!

My little man.

I think he looks SO much like the Workman side in this picture. I see Trenty in his little smile.
