Fall Photo Shoot

Luberjack

Jacob was a lumberjack for Halloween this year! He loved chopping down my trees with his axe. Someone called him Paul Bunyan and I wish I had been clever enough to think of that myself. Our neighborhood doesn't do Trick or Treating because we have a big Halloween party at the church, but we still had a good time. I made my Black Bean Chili that Dustin likes so much and passed out candy to the kids. We only had 1 pair of sisters knock on our door, but it was still a fun night. Jacob also had a party at his daycare and I made this cupcakes for his class.

Pumpkin Patch

I love Fall. I love the cooler weather and the changing leaves. Most of all, I LOVE pumpkins! Pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pie, pumpkin casseroles. We took Jacob to a pumpkin patch and it was so much fun! Well, for me. He could have cared less, but I think he had fun anyway. Dustin puts up with my weirdness and takes me anyway. This pumpkin patch had a small petting zoo (with a kangaroo, how awesome is that?), a big hay bale for the kids to climb all over, a "sandbox" full of corn kernels and HUGE fields of pumpkins. Not to mention they were dirt cheap this year, that's a plus. Here are some pictures of our outing and the pumpkins we carved!

My Favorite Boy

Jacob is a funny kid. He is very laid back and will go along with just about anything we put him up to. We have taken a lot of really funny pictures of him this summer, so I thought I'd just post some of them and let you see a little of my cute boy. Sorry if some are blurry!
