Cali Trip Day 3 & 4
Saturday we spent with my family. I was lucky enough to have April and her family come up from Ventura, Pat and his family also from Ventura, and then Garrett and his family from Lompoc all come and spend the day with us. I also got a visit from Heidi, but I didn't get any pictures with Heidi this time. It was so fun to see all of my cousins and how much they have grown up. I'm the oldest grandchild in my mom's family, with the youngest not having been born yet, so we have all ages. Jacob and Peyton are only 2 weeks apart, so I included the picture from a year ago. It's so neat to see how they have changed. Here are some pictures from our day together.

One year ago with these two...
Sunday, we went to the Lompoc Ward and got to see a lot of old friends. This is the ward that Dustin and I were in for the first year we were married and many of the people in this ward know both of us from growing up in Lompoc, so they were excited to see us and everyone loved Jacob. No surprise there, he is cute as can be! After church, Jacob had a MUCH needed nap before heading over to Grandma Workman's house for a Father's Day BBQ. Jacob was a little intimidated by all of the people, but as long as he had his Daddy in sight, he was fine.

Cali Trip Day 1 and 2
We left for Lompoc last Wednesday night and it rained over the entire state of Utah. We were pretty excited to spend some time with our families out in Cali. This is a picture of what it looked like as we were driving.

Jacob and his Uncle Jeremy. He doesn't know his uncles very well, so we had to help him get adjusted.

Here's a cute picture of Jacob and his Great-Grandpa Workman.

Having a bath at Grandma's house.

Going to the BEACH!! Jacob doesn't remember his first trip to the beach, so we were pretty excited to take him this time. He LOVED everything about the beach. He ate sand, played in the water and we had to hold him back from running straight into the waves.
EEEW! Gross baby, don't eat sand.
Playing in the sand with Daddy is FUN!
He wasn't too sure about walking in the sand though. He's only just mastered flat ground in the last month.
More playing in the sand. It was a foggy day, but it wasn't windy and cold, so it made it pretty nice. I still managed to get a little burned.

WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME MOM??? Jacob was really nervous about the ocean at first. Too noisy and moving all the time. He got over it pretty quick.

Here's me, Jacob, Autumn, and Alana. We've known each other since 7th Grade. We all play violin and have been friends forever! I'm so lucky to know these girls. Every time we get together, which isn't too often anymore, it's like no time has gone by at all. I think that's awesome. Autumn is doing photography and took some awesome pictures of Jacob at the beach (I'll post those later). They came to spend the day with us and I love them both!
Here's a picture after we got back and cleaned up. Such a fun day!
