Dustin has been working hard to get my garden bed built for this Spring. I ended up getting the wood for FREE through my work and we are super excited! Since we got the wood for free, I told Dustin that he could go buy the power saw that he has been wanting. We started some of our plants from seed in the house and others we will plant when it warms up a bit more. I have never had much of a green thumb, more of a BLACK thumb actually so this is completely experimental. We have had a lot of fun though. So far, I have seedlings coming up in most of the planters that I started almost 2 weeks ago. I have had to save them from the Monster Child who likes to throw the dirt on the floor, but that's ok. (At least he has only been grabbing dirt out of the same planter, so the others might live) Here are some pictures of our Garden Project.
3 sides are done, just need 1 more. Dustin is also building me 2 small planters, about 1x3 for my herbs.
We decided to put it next to the shed so we don't have to lug tools all over. Plus this keeps me close to Jacob while he plays on his swing set.
