Merry Christmas!

We have had quite a week this Christmas holiday. I had the flu bug on Monday, my mom and Dustin caught it Wednesday and Daddy caught it the day after Christmas. Needless to say, none of us have been in much of a holiday mood. Thankfully, Jacob hasn't come down with anything. We had a great time opening gifts with Jacob. He wasn't real sure why we were throwing away the best part...the PAPER! Here are some photos from our Christmas together.

Army Crawl

Our big achievement this weekend was that Jacob has started to army crawl. He drags himself across the floor on his belly. It's hilarious to watch! Then he will lift his whole body off the ground in an awesome push up position. He's showing off because he knows his mama can't do that. Anyway, here's a video!

Big Boy Tub

Jacob has outgrown his baby tub, so this week we moved him into the normal tub. It scared him at first, but Mama danced and distracted him. He looks so small in the big tub. Here are a few pictures.

Jacob's First Tooth!!

7 Months!

My baby is growing too fast. Today he came up on all fours into a crawling position! It won't be long now. My dad was here over the last week and brought his dogs, so I am posting a few pictures. It's really hard to tell the differences in their sizes. Jake is 4 and is Reese's papa. Reese is 6 months old and a wild little guy. Jacob thought watching those dogs was the most amusing thing he has ever seen.

Laughing Baby

JaRele and Jacob were having a blast here, laughing at each other. This wasn't the best of it, but he saw me walk in with the camera so he got side tracked alittle bit. There is nothing more enjoyable then making a baby laugh and smile.

Twilight

I FINISHED!! All I can say is WOW! I absolutely loved the Twilight series. I didn't know anything about the books until Christina insisted that I read the first one. Of course, once I read the first book, I had to read all 4! I haven't been able to put them down, my husband will testify to that one. I can not WAIT for the movie to come out. I know it won't be as good as the book, they never are, but I can still enjoy this sweet love story. If you have read it, you know what I'm talking about, if you still haven't given in and jumped on the bandwagon...DO IT! Trust me, these books are awesome!

Half Birthday!

We are celebrating Jacob's half birthday today! I can't believe how fast the last 6 months have disappeared. He is growing up so fast, it's amazing. Every day he seems to learn something new. Today we spent the morning at the BYU library. Dustin had a group project, so Jacob and I went to the family history center. It was a good day for us. I took these pictures on our back lawn. The weather was just perfect!

Elk Season Begins!

It's that time of year again! Opening day for Elk was this last Saturday and it was a miserable one at that! Dad is up here with his buddies again this year and they were soaked to the skin within a few hours. I decided to cook for the men (10 of them!) and of course I totally over estimated on the quantities, again. Anyway, I decided to bake a cake in honor of the season and I think it turned out pretty well! I forgot to take pictures of the inside, but I did the inside camouflage colored. I think the guys really enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures. Still no word on anyone getting their Elk, but we are hopeful. The rain also left us some snow up on Timp. There's the view from our front porch, awesome huh??
